NB Delaware Running Club & Racing Team – The New Balance Delaware Running Club was organized to promote the love of running in the Delaware area. Our Mission: “New Balance Delaware Running Club is committed to promoting, encouraging and fostering the love of running and fitness for members of all ages and abilities.” We encourage runners and walkers of all ages and abilities to come join our group runs. Everyone is invited to join our group runs. You don’t have to be a club member to run wtih us. Those that come to the runs will be invited to join the club. Our club is sponsored by both New Balance Brandywine (located in the Concord Square Shopping Center, next to Giant) and New Balance Christiana (located in Center Pointe Plaza).
Team NB Richmond – The New Balance Richmond Racing Team is composed of local runners looking to better themselves as athletes in the local Richmond Area. The team is sponsored by New Balance Richmond, a privately owned athletic shoe store, located in the west end of Richmond. NB Richmond not only supports post-collegiate runners and graduate students in their endeavors to continue training at a high level but also those trying to balance work committments with their passion for running and racing. Regardless of their background or ability, they share the same passion of competition and running and contribute to the large running scene in Virginia’s commonwealth!
Delaware Distance Classic 15k/5k & Pike Creek Valley Running Club – The Pike Creek Valley Running Club, Inc. is a Delaware non-profit corporation formed in 1982 for the purpose of promoting and encouraging running in our region as a sustainable form of recreation, as well as fostering social bonds with other runners. PCVRC supports the individual in the achievement of his or her personal athletic goals as well as involvement in the spirit of team competition. In October of each year the PCVRC organizes the Delaware Distance Classic 15k/5k.
Healthy Kids Running Series – The Healthy Kids Running Series was created by Jeff Long, Founder and President of Pattison Sports Group, to provide kids with a positive, educational, and fun experience in the world of running. To combat the increasing rates of child obesity in America, Jeff designed a running program that would motivate kids to be healthy and active and provide a fun environment to improve their self-esteem. Jeff believed the program would encourage kids to adopt a “Get Up and Go” attitude.
Girls on the Run – a life-changing, non-profit program for girls in the 3rd through 8th grade. Our mission is to inspire girls to be joyful, healthy and confident using a fun, experience-based curriculum which creatively integrates running.”
